Excellence in sustainability! RAUKANTEX eco & evo win interzum award 2021 in the category "High product quality"

At the "interzum award": intelligent material & design, the best products from the international furniture and interior design supply industry are selected by an international jury. The awards were presented on the first day of the interzum@home trade fair, and REHAU is among the proud winners.

With its RAUKANTEX eco.protect concept, REHAU is actively and successfully focusing on the circular economy and the reduction of CO₂ emissions – topics to which the family-owned company has intensively dedicated itself for a long time. The two sustainable edgebands – RAUKANTEX eco & evo – are based on this concept: RAUKANTEX eco consists of 50% post-industrial recycled material. With the certified* RAUKANTEX evo edgeband based on renewable raw materials, no additional crude oil is required for polymer production. Instead, non-fossil raw materials are used.
