‘Finally back on stage at interzum’ – Matthias Haasler, Executive Vice President EMEA at REHAU Interior Solutions, is looking forward to the major trade fair in Cologne, where he is presenting an exciting stand concept with his team: under the motto ‘Beauty for all shapes and forms’, REHAU will be in hall 5.2, stand F019, demonstrating how the trend towards organic shapes and natural-looking materials can be realised with standard woodwork tools. There are also fresh colours for the award-winning RAUVISIO crystal surface and exciting innovations from the world of edgebands. In short: an inspiration for the trends of the present.

In an increasingly digital world, there is a growing need for naturalness and places of retreat. Organic shapes characterise interior design, with curves, soft contours and natural materials such as glass, wood, stone and ceramics playing a central role. REHAU materials pick up on this development and offer an excellent opportunity to integrate the aesthetics of natural materials into modern designs in an innovative way. Under the motto ‘Beauty for all shapes and forms’, REHAU is presenting a series of inspiring exhibits at interzum that show how organic shapes and natural gracefulness can be elegantly and stylishly realised in furniture construction. This demonstrates how REHAU’s materials bridge the gap between nature and technology, enabling aesthetic visions to be brought to life in an impressive way.

Design match: no disruptive transitions between different products

Matthias Haasler is looking forward to presenting the company’s innovations at the trade fair: ‘interzum is an important platform for REHAU Interior Solutions, as it allows us to present our innovations to an international trade audience while deepening existing partnerships and forging new ones – and to show how the latest trends can be implemented particularly well with our products using design match.’ Design match brings together the various product lines – and enables industry, carpenters and interior designers to produce everything, from individual pieces of furniture to entire rooms, using a single mould. REHAU will be showcasing the impressive results of the cross-product and cross-material concept: in an interactive kitchen, surfaces, edgebands and storage space solutions merge to form holistic furniture.

RAUVISIO crystal Pure: colours bridging the gap between nature and technology

In addition to shapes, colours also play a decisive role in the design of rooms. Warm, natural colours enhance the harmonious effect of furniture and create a pleasant atmosphere. REHAU is expanding the RAUVISIO crystal Pure collection with five solid colours that combine modern elegance with a natural look. They create the basis for a complete aesthetic concept that radiates calm and balance while emphasising clear, modern structures. For example, the glass laminate will be available in the colour Onda in a dark navy blue with petrol undertones, while the colour Alba conveys natural energy and reflects the trend towards authentic materials.

Another colour innovation is the Pantone colour 2025. With its rich, creamy depth, the earthy mocha mousse shade emanates cosiness and sophistication. It will also be available as a colour setting for RAUVISIO crystal in future. This special setting is not just an eye-catcher, it also represents the REHAU approach of offering individual colour settings even for small order quantities. ‘Beauty for all shapes and forms’ can therefore be fulfilled according to customer requirements.

RAUKANTEX pro edgebands perfectly match the RAUVISIO crystal Pure surface in Onda decor

RAUKANTEX: edgebands for all shapes and forms

As the world’s leading edgeband specialist, REHAU consistently develops its portfolio and always pursues the goal of developing the perfect component. Attention is paid to every detail, from zero joint to decor variety to scratch resistance. Another building block for the perfect component will now be on show at interzum: paint structures. The texture on the edgeband stands out in the right places, enhancing the three-dimensional effect of the design.

Wood as a design element is more in demand than ever in kitchens and living areas. REHAU is taking the natural look of wood decors to a new level with a new product from the RAUKANTEX pigmento family. For the first time, a detailed wood grain can be integrated directly into the milling radius of the edgeband for an authentic look and feel that perfectly complements the natural character of the wood. And the edgeband comes with even more benefits: it is impact-resistant, does not splinter and therefore gives the furniture components a durable, high-quality appearance. The large selection of decors and colour variants means the right solution can be found for every design and fabricators can use the edgeband in combination with the REHAU product portfolio to create furniture as if from a single mould – without having to compromise on detail.

‘With our innovations and forward-thinking solutions, we have put together a convincing package for interzum and our customers,’ says Matthias Haasler. ‘We are now looking forward to four days in Cologne, where we can showcase our products and discuss the future of furniture with our colleagues from the industry.’
