Matching edges to the new Innovus collection

We are proud to offer perfectly matching edgebands to the new Innovus 2023 collection by Sonae Arauco - made in Germany!

Under the motto "Matching our nature", Soane Arauco presented the new Innovus collection at Interzum, It shows materials for the special moments in everyday life. The collection offers around 40 new decors, including plain, fantasy and stone decors as well as natural woods.
Also newly introduced is Soft Clean, a surface texture with a fine grain structure and improved gloss level. Also new: SLK - Silk - a laminate with anti-fingerprint effect and a soft feel.

A decade ago at interzum 2013, REHAU presented its vision for front boards to the furniture sector – an interpretation based on purist design, fresh looks and mesmerising materials. In the process, the edgeband specialist made another element of furniture components its own, true to the slogan ‘Discover a new dimension’. In the intervening years, instead of just following the designs of board manufacturers, REHAU has been developing its own collections for monolithic furniture items. Today, the REHAU Interior Solutions division is familiar to the furniture trade. International Edgeband Symposium celebrates its premiere

2nd Edgeband Symposium in Italy

After a successful 32nd edition of the REHAU edgeband symposium in March in Schopfloch, the event was also held for the first time on 15 June 2023 in Pesaro, Italy, at the partner company Biesse. This year's motto "The perfect component" also met with great interest on the Adriatic coast. Around 80 participants, including almost all well-known REHAU and Biesse customers from Italy, accepted the invitation and made the event a great success with promising future perspectives.

REHAU launches ReTurn recycling concept for edgebands

As REHAU has proved through its past actions, the company takes the issue of sustainability seriously – and that goes for RAUKANTEX edgeband solutions too. Now the Interior Solutions division is introducing the next stage: REHAU ReTurn, the new component in the RAUKANTEX eco.protect portfolio. This recycling concept represents the first step in making edgebands part of a long-term resource cycle. With immediate effect, customers can return unused edgebands, preferably in their original packaging, to REHAU free of charge. REHAU will then turn these edgebands into new products.

Any quantity, any length – and now also any width!

New: cutting of flexible edge widths.

Whether it's a kitchen cabinet, worktop or wall shelf, you often need edges of the same color or decor in different widths for a project. Now you can obtain edgeband rolls individually and flexibly cut to a wide range of widths from us. Tailored precisely to the requirements of your customers.

If you need a non-standard width, it's worth checking out the new REHAU service:

A range of different widths can be cut out of an edgeband roll (70 mm or 104 mm).
The smallest possible width is 12 mm.
Other widths are generally also supplied unless they are smaller than 12 mm.
For technical reasons, 4 mm edge trim is always required

Edgeband specialist REHAU and board manufacturer Pfleiderer coordinate their design collections closely, as having the perfect match between board and edgeband is the only way to create the perfect component.

The collaboration includes the boards from Pfleiderer’s Express Collection 2021–2024 as well as the Prime Boards XTreme Collection for special matt and high-gloss surfaces. The coordinated decorative concept also covers large parts of the worktop collection and the associated wall seal systems.

Ready-to-paint edgebands: now available in the REHAU standard stock range

With over 100,000 different variants in more than 2,200 different colours and designs available from stock, it’s usually no problem to find the perfect edgeband for your board. For anyone who still wants to paint over the polymer edgeband, REHAU also offers a paint-ready version. The specially developed surface of the primer edgebands allows any water-based or solvent-based paint to adhere to it perfectly. The only basic difference between the paint-ready edgeband and the other ABS edgebands in the REHAU standard stock range is its specially developed surface.

The white REHAU paint-ready edgeband is available in a thickness of 0.4, 0.8 and 2 mm and in various dimensions, even up to 104 mm. It also comes either with classic primer on the back or as the invisible joint version. As always, the edgebands can be ordered starting from 1 m.
